Registered Osteopath and Naturopath
Graduated from the British
College of Osteopathic Medicine in Hampstead in 1994 with a DO in Osteopathy and ND in Naturopathy. Also hold BSc (Hons) in
Osteopathic Medicine. Previous background in Aromatherapy and Hydrotherapy.
Since
graduation has worked in capacity as Osteopath for NHS trust in Bristol, under ACC (Accident Compensation Claim) system in
New Zealand and within a sport centre. In 1996 started practice within Horn Street Surgery to present date. Also work within
a multidisciplinary clinic in Stoke Mandeville.
Particularly interested in working on occupationally related and
sports injuries (especially tennis, rowing and triathletes), visceral osteopathy (eg. lung, intestinal and pelvic restrictions
seen secondary to inflammation, congestion and post-op) and uses craniosacral techniques for head trauma whether it be due
to RTA, concussion or birth complications, sinusitis or headaches. Uses Naturopathy to enhance the individuals own health
through nutrition (food as your medicine), hydrotherapy and manipulation of tissues to related areas of congestion.
Treatment is very much geared towards enpowering the patient to manage their condition through self knowledge on how their
body works and on homecare to accelerate healing and prevent re-injury.
